About Me
At Bloomfield Woodworks, everything begins with a piece of wood and a pair of hands. No machines, no rush — just honest tools, quiet patience, and a love for making things that last.
I’m a self-taught woodworker based in the rolling countryside of Wiltshire, UK. While I learned the craft on my own, the spirit of creativity and craftsmanship runs deep in my family. Making things — with care, intention, and a respect for natural materials — has always been part of how we live.
Every piece that leaves my workshop is shaped using traditional hand tools. It’s a slower way of working, but one that allows me to listen to the wood, follow its grain, and bring out the character in each knot and curve. Whether it's a simple spoon or a custom piece of furniture, nothing is rushed and nothing is done by half.
What I Believe
In a world driven by convenience, I choose to work differently. To make fewer things, but make them better. To craft objects that feel good in your hands, serve a purpose, and carry a story.
Bloomfield Woodworks is more than a workshop — it’s a return to the values of slowness, skill, and soul. From my corner of Wiltshire to wherever you call home, I hope each piece brings a bit of that spirit with it.
